Red River Valley Real Estate: 5 Things to Be Thankful For
This week, you'll most likely get the opportunity to sit around a bountiful meal with friends and family to count your blessings.
Many Thanksgiving traditions involve going around the table and having each person express one thing they're thankful for. What a great exercise to bring things into perspective and realize how much we all have.
Since I can't join you at your table, I thought I'd share with you five things I'm thankful for regarding real estate in the Fargo-Moorhead area. For all you locals, I hope you agree with all the amazing things about this place we call home. And for all of you looking to move in this direction, I hope this encourages you to come and join the fold of the Red River Valley.

5 Things to Be Thankful for Regarding Real Estate in Fargo-Moorhead
1. Even the bad times are pretty good.
The Fargo-Moorhead area is one-of-a-kind.
I'm thankful for… living in such an economically diverse area. The real estate market here is always strong, even if the rest of the country is not doing so well.
2. You can feel safe.
While there are parts of town that are more desirable than others, there really aren't any "bad" parts of town.
I'm thankful for… the low crime rate and the fantastic job the different cities do in maintaining and developing the area. Visitors often comment about how safe they feel and how clean the area is, something we shouldn't take for granted.
3. A team-focused approach.
The real estate industry in the area all has the same goal of getting people into their homes, and all work together to achieve it.
I'm thankful for… all the people in the real estate industry who work diligently on behalf of their customers. From lenders to title companies to insurance brokers, home inspectors, and other real estate-related industries, they are all excellent to work with.

4. The people.
There's both a North Dakota and Minnesota "nice" to the people up here.
People in the area are the kind of people that look you in the eyes and smile or stop to help you when you're in need. The same is true in real estate.
I'm thankful for… other real estate agents who act as partners in finding homes for my clients who are buying homes and helping to sell the homes for my clients listing homes. I'm thankful that the real estate agents in Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas are honest, ethical people who have the clients' best interests in mind.
5. Serving you!
There's simply nothing I enjoy more than the opportunity to serve my clients… to serve YOU!
I'm thankful for… the ability to do what I do. When I get to help a client achieve their buying or selling goals, even when it's challenging, it brings me a lot of joy.
